Part-Time Survey Interviewers for Vail, Beaver Creek & Up Colo River (Vail, Beaver Creek & Upper Colorado River Areas)

Colorado, High rockies 00000 High rockies USA

Vacancy caducado!

We are looking for a few qualified candidates to conduct research interviews outside with visitors to the towns of Vail and Beaver Creek and at various boat pullouts along the Upper Colorado River. The part-time work goes from now through early Fall. You dont need to be available for that entire time frame or for all the locations to apply. No sales are involved.

The Vail and Beaver Creek interviews will occur at various locations around the towns of Vail and Beaver Creek. Interviewers will conduct short surveys with the visitors about their experiences in these towns. The interviews will be done during the days and/or early evening to match the peak visitor times and the interviewing times can be somewhat flexible to fit your schedule. You can work on weekends and/or weekdays. The in-town interviewer shifts are typically 4 to 6 hours long (or less, if you have less time to work on a particular day). The number of hours would vary, depending on your availability. You can expect to work approximately 15-20 hours per week (possibly more during busier/holiday periods, and less time during slower periods).

The Upper Colorado River interviews will occur at various boat pullouts. Past years interviewing locations have included: Radium, State Bridge, Two Bridges, Catamount, Pinball, Lyons Gulch, Dotsero, Grizzly, Two Rivers, etc. Interviewers will be counting boats and anglers, and conducting short surveys. The interviews will be done during the day on mix of weekday and weekend days. You will be working on the land (not on the river). The river interviewer shifts are typically 8 hours long (or less depending on the weather). There will be several river interviewing days per month and the number of days you cover would vary depending on your availability.

The pay for interviewing in Vail, Beaver Creek and along the Upper Colorado River location is $17 per hour with potential for additional compensation for strong performance. There may be additional compensation offered to cover gas costs to get to/from the river locations. You will be responsible for providing for your own reliable transportation to/from the job sites.

The position requires the following:

Must be energetic, outgoing, and able to easily approach other people

Responsible for timely completion of work and able to meet scheduling and quota requirements

Strong organizational skills

A high level of attention to detail

The position has the further characteristics/benefits:

Flexible hours and can potentially work around your schedule depending on your situation

No sales are involved

Pay rate of $17 per hour with potential for additional compensation for strong performance

If interested, please email a cover letter describing your interest and qualifications, the hours and days you are available to work, and the specific locations where you can work (i.e., Vail, Beaver Creek and boat pullouts along Colorado River), plus a current resume or brief description of your experiences.
