Greenhouse attendants wanted for Summer 2025, May 1st through September 30th. Full time
and/or Part time. Greenhouse hours are approximately 6 to 8 hours per day, 7 days per week.
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in horticulture, that is able to work alone or as part of the team, and has a strong work ethic. Someone with greenhouse and/or gardening experience is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Hand watering annuals, perennials and shrubs, deadheading flowers, trimming, pruning as necessary, inspection and treatment of insect and diseases, and possible planting and transplanting. Container Gardens are to be watered and deadheaded daily, along with inspection and treatment of insect and diseases. Infected plants are to be placed in a designated area of the greenhouses. A daily record of watering, disease and insect damage controls applied are to be recorded on the sheets provided.
Ensure greenhouses are kept clean and tidy, trash and recycle receptacles are located in each greenhouse. Tools are to be sanitized daily or more often if diseased plants are involved.
