Greenhouse attendants wanted for Summer 2024, May 1st through September 30th. Full time and/or Part time. Greenhouse hours are approximately 6 to 8 hours per day, 7 days per week.
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in horticulture, that is able to work alone or as part of the team, and has a strong work ethic.
Prefer someone with greenhouse and/or gardening experience.
Responsibilities include:
Hand watering annuals, perennials and shrubs as well as container gardens, deadheading flowers, trimming, pruning as necessary, inspection and treatment of insect and diseases, and planting and transplanting.
Ensure greenhouses are kept clean and tidy, trash and recycle receptacles are located in each greenhouse. Tools are to be sanitized daily or more often if diseased plants are involved.
A daily record of watering, disease and insect damage & controls on sheet provided.
