Job Description: We are currently seeking a part-time dental assistant to work one to two days a week. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, including lab work, taking impressions, and instrument sterilization. Our dental assistant will play a vital role in assisting our dentists during procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms for procedures and clean them afterward
Take dental impressions
Perform lab work as needed
Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Uphold infection control protocols and standards
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a dental assistant required
Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Proficiency in taking dental impressions and performing lab work
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Active CPR certification
