Boychik; a Mediterranean inspired restaurant that offers traditional cuisine with a modern interpretation. Located in the new Avanti Food Hall at Golden Peak in Vail. We are looking for an experienced cook or prep cook.
This is a 9am-5pm shift, five days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Follow recipes
- Ensure food is stored and handled properly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Monitor food stock and notify the supervisor of any shortages
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food industry required
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary training or certification is a bonus
- Proficient knife skills
Skills:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent time management skills
