Kitchen Manager

We are accepting applicants for a full-time assistant kitchen manager position at Enza’s Delicatessen & Market in Silverthorne. This is a chef position and cooking is a must.

We are seeking an individual who is a professional early riser who enjoys the fast-paced hospitality industry.

This position consists of food safety and handling experience. ServSafe certified encouraged but not required. Responsible for maintaining proper safe department of health standards & oversees kitchen employees. Manager experience required.

Maintain labor & cost control, putting away daily & weekly food orders with proper food rotation. Assisting the general manger for daily business operations such as being a manger on duty, both FOH & BOH tasks, assisting line cooks during peak hours on the line cooking, daily food prep & banquet food design.

Some cashier and money handling capabilities as well. Offer kind & patient customer service skills and must love working with people and customers. Must be able to speak English and bilingual encouraged.

This person needs to enjoy creating daily specials, making from scratch soups weekly, expressing a creative heart for food design and plate presentation. Enza’s is an open kitchen where FOH and BOH is one in the same.

We offer a variety of local coffees, espresso beverages such as latte’s, mochas & cappuccinos with an exquisite full breakfast & lunch menu, both being served all day. Our menu consists of several craft made to order breakfast & lunch sandwiches, daily soups, salads, brunch bowls, flatbreads, deli case specialty salads, stuffed croissants, pastries, and desserts.

Enza’s is also a full-service catering kitchen (All Events & Catering) with a large client base for offsite caterings, special events, and a variety of community-based events. Banquet experience encouraged but not required if willing to learn. Must be able to drive & deliver banquet food. Opportunities are available to call for a private chef offsite.

There will be both AM & PM banquets taking place that require food preparation from our banquet menu. Breakfast caterings are generally 5am to 11am-noon and special events & caterings are generally anywhere from 12pm noon to 9pm.

Delicatessen hours of operation are 7am-4pm and we are open 7 days a week.

Opening Shift hours are 6:00am-2:30pm & Closing shift hours 9:00am to 5/5:30pm.
