Beaver Creek Oktoberfest (Aug 29–Aug 31st)

Pay: $35/hr for Beaver Creek Oktoberfest

Note: Oktoberfest is a non-tipped event; Hence the higher hourly rate

Avant-Garde Event Services is hiring Event Bartenders & Event Staff POS Operators, to join our dynamic team for one of our biggest events in the Mountains: Beaver Creek Oktoberfest

This is a high-volume, fast-paced event in the town center of Beaver Creek.

Bartenders: Must have valid TIPS or ABT On-Premise Certification

Event Staff: No certification required

Pay: $35/hour (no tips)

Event Bartender Role

Key Responsibilities:

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and responsibly

Operate Square POS and handle transactions with accuracy

Provide outstanding hospitality to guests, clients, and teammates

Set up, stock, and break down bar stations efficiently

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bar space

Communicate effectively with team leaders and event captains

Qualifications:

Must be 21+

Valid TIPS or ABT On-Premise Certification (required for bartender roles)

Bartending experience in events, banquets, or high-volume environments

Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Weekend and evening availability

Team-oriented with a positive attitude and polished presentation

Lives in the surrounding area

Event Staff POS Operator –

As a member of the Event Staff POS team, you’ll support event operations and guest service by managing transactions, assisting with product distribution, and helping keep the event running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the POS system to process transactions accurately

Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments

Issue receipts and deliver friendly, helpful customer service

Assist with distributing merchandise as needed

Keep cashier stations clean and organized

Communicate with team members for smooth operations

Follow all event policies and procedures

Requirements:

Strong customer service skills

Comfortable working with POS systems

Attention to detail and ability to stay organized under pressure

Willingness to assist in multiple roles during events

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Must live in the surrounding area
