Apprentice Electrician

Job Description

Direct Electric is currently seeking an Electrician Apprentice in the Pueblo / Colorado Springs area. This position will offer roughly 35-40 hours per week. Pay is $18-$26 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Requirements: (must-haves)

-2+ years of previous residential electrical experience, or a mix of residential / commercial with the majority of experience being residential

-Strong work ethic. Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic can substitute for some experience in the field.

-Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.

-Must have all your tools and PPE

-You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

-Must be able to pass a skill test.

-Must have reliable transportation

-RW license is a plus!

Job Duties:

This position will include a combination of new residential, residential remodel/service, and remodel commercial. Specific job duties include:

Removing, installing, and repairing electrical equipment, including boxes, devices (plugs/outlets), fixtures, and wiring circuits

Troubleshooting

Running and pulling wire

Making up panels

Adherence to all quality and safety codes/maintaining a safe working environment.

Will be working with ladders, in attics, and on elevated platforms.
