Job Title: Part-Time Building Maintenance Manager
Company Overview:
We manage 2 small apartment complexes in the local pueblo area, offering both short-term and long-term rentals. As our company grows, we're looking for a dedicated and experienced Building Maintenance Manager to grow with us.
Position:
Part-Time Building Maintenance Manager (5-10 hours per week) with potential for growth as the company expands.
Job Description:
This role is flexible, allowing you to work around other full-time or part-time jobs. You will manage and perform various maintenance tasks, both exterior and interior, to ensure our properties are well-maintained and presentable.
Responsibilities:
Exterior Building Maintenance:
Removing weeds and maintaining the exterior property landscaping
Removing trash from the property
Sweeping walkways
Shoveling snow in the winter
Painting & repainting
Raking and bagging leaves in the fall
Bug spray & weed spray applications
Pressure washing
Fence repairs
Other common exterior maintenance tasks as needed
Interior Maintenance Tasks:
Repairing light plumbing issues (if possible)
Repairing light electrical issues (if possible)
Light drywall repairs (holes & leaks)
Painting
Cleaning AC vents & filters
Oiling hinges & fans
Replacing light bulbs
Replacing batteries
Other common interior maintenance tasks as needed
Additional Projects:
Occasional one-off projects as needed
Requirements:
Reliable transportation
Self-directed with good time management skills
Efficient in task and project completion
Own tools are a plus but not required
Experience in building maintenance is preferred, but all experience levels are welcome to apply
Compensation:
Position is paid via 1099
Bi-weekly payments on the 1st and 15th of every month
