This position shall assist Facilities Administration and the CSU Pueblo project team on campus electronic systems and related software applications through technical expertise, guidance and recommendations. This may include: ADA automatic door operator systems, CBORD access control, electronic access door locks and programming, campus scoreboards and audio systems, campus elevator systems, fire sprinklers, fire pumps, fire stand pipe controls, fire clean agent systems and related software applications. Employee will maintain, troubleshoot, test, repair and replace electronic components in order to address the work order need. Employee will also be responsible for the maintenance and record-keeping of electronic software applications. Because of the health and safety risks posed by malfunctioning electronic systems on campus, this employee will sometimes be required to report to work, even on days when campus is closed.Perform Preventive Maintenance on Campus Electronic SystemsEmployee will fulfill the Colorado State University Pueblo Electronic Preventive Maintenance program as assigned by their Supervisor. This may include supporting other teams such as the Mechanical team with electronic components of mechanical systems or supporting individuals such as the campus locksmith on door and access concerns.
