assistant to implement and assist with administering the
organization's security functions and programs, directing or

Assists in the overall management of the Information Security

Assists in the overall management of the Industrial Security
Program. Reviews solicitation and contract documents to ensure
they include the appropriate security clauses and language.

This position has been designated for drug testing. Incumbent is
subject to random urinalysis testing as a condition of

Disclosure of Political Appointments
Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified

compromise; must obtain and maintain the appropriate security
clearance for the position.
Employee is required to work other than normal duty hours,
evenings, weekends. Report to work during base exercises,
contingencies, emergency situations, overtime/comp time/credit
hours required to accomplish assigned duties.
The listed certification requirements may not be deleted or
modified without the written approval of the AF Security
Functional Authority (SAF/AA) or their delegated security career
field representative.
This certification requirement only applies to employees
assigned to an indexed CPD or SCPD position on or after 14
March 2016. Incumbent employees assigned on or before 13 March
2016 are not required to obtain the DoD certification(s) listed
above.

Certification and Security Program Integration Professional
Certification conferrals are required within 2 years of the
established employee EOD.
This position is a designated national security position.
The employee is required to provide security support to an
Operating Location at Schriever AFB, CO.
Employee must within 30-days of assuming this position and by 31
October annually thereafter, file an OGE-450, Confidential
Financial Disclosure Report. Employee is required to attend
annual ethics and procurement integrity training.
This is a Key position. Incumbents must be removed from their
military recall status if alternatives for filling the position
during an emergency are not available.
Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 20
days per year.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:.Applicants will be rated in accordance with the
OPM Qualification Standards. Minimum eligibility requirements will
be those corresponding to the lowest GS grade referenced in the pay
band of the position being filled. The minimum qualifying experience
for an NH-2 position would equate to the qualifying experience for a
GS-05 since the pay band includes GS-05 thru 11.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of general experience at
the next lower grade NH-I or GS-04 which includes: mastery of
physical, system, information, industrial, personnel, operations
security concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement
security programs in these areas. Expert ability in developing,
analyzing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission
requirements and improve the security program for the organization.

Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's
degree. This education was directly related to the work of the
position and provided me with the knowledge, skills, and ability to

long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least

ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS: The VOW Act requires agencies to
treat active duty service member as veterans, disabled veterans, and

letter should be on letterhead of the appropriate military branch of
