Join our team as a Restaurant Host for the Madeline Hotel, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by warmly greeting, seating and bidding fond farewells while assuring each guest’s known preferences are acknowledged and assure a memorable story.Core ResponsibilitiesPlease note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done  Within the Auberge family, our leaders our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team-mates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:Greet guests, answer phones, take and maintain reservations and waitlists as well as special requestsSeat guests according to standard, calculate table turns and communicate wait times effectivelyPerform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperation, and work with a minimum of supervisionSolve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsEffectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacyWork well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at onceBe well organized, maintain concentration, and think clearly while providing service to many guests at any given time
