POSITION: Behavior TechnicianDUTIES:
As a Registered Behavior Technician, your primary responsibilities are to
provide ABA therapy under direction of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior
Analyst) to individuals with a wide range of developmental, social, and
emotional diagnosis. That therapy is tailored to each individual, centered
around their interests, and rooted in practices that ensure results.REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have worked with individuals with developmental disabilities for at
least one year
Must have a GED/HS diploma
Must have a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
Must clear a felony background check and previous employment verification
Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, twist, kneel, and engage in
active physical play with children
Must have a valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and MVR
record. A reliable vehicle is a must for transporting clients. This is not a
requirement for employment but may be applicable upon notice.PREFERRED SKILLS:
An active RBT certification
Bilingual fluency
A degree in psychology, education, human services, or a related fields
Current enrollment in their BCBA courseworkWAGE:
$19-$22 RBTs who are not pursuing BCBA Coursework
$21-$26 RBTs who are enrolled in or finished with BCBA Coursework
