Job Description SummaryAs the Supply Chain Director - North America for GE Vernova Control Solutions and Services, you will provide leadership for all daily operations and the facility in Longmont, CO. You will be responsible for meeting customer requirements for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will drive operational excellence for the CSS business and continue our path of Lean transformation, while building on a culture of inclusion and respect for people and continuous improvement. This role will play a key role within the CSS business and drive the Longmont site strategy into the future.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities

Define the vision and execute the strategy for the Longmont site, headquarters of the GE Vernova Control Solutions & Services business.

Establish Longmont site culture and priorities (inclusive of all functions) with a clear focus on safety, quality, continuous improvement, business execution, effective employee communication & relations, and the embodiment of the GE Vernova Way Principles.

Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.

Drive Lean Culture and Daily management especially Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC)

Influence the Lean roadmap for the site.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Monitor production metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff.

Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery of products.

Ensure strong collaboration with the engineering team to ensure effective launch of new products (NPI) and processes.

Leverage budgeting and regular planning, forecasting and SI&OP rhythms to drive the organization to ensure that scheduling, capacity, and headcount are aligned to ensure success.

Coordinate with cross functional site leadership to align plant operations with company objectives.

Champion talent development across the team, effectively following talent processes and investing in hiring, growth, and succession, including integration of DEI initiatives.

Facilities Management of the Longmont facility.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration or related technical discipline.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain with progressive leadership experience.

Desired Characteristics

Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Plant Manager or in a similar managerial role.

Strong knowledge in the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, quality systems, cost systems and fulfillment metrics.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.

Experience in Nuclear Controls a plus.

Ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally, influencing across a matrix organization while connecting and building relationships with all levels of the site.

Leads with a Lean mindset and is skilled at applying Lean tools to improve business operations.

Demonstrated record of success in leading manufacturing operations.

Strong communication and analytical abilities and the capacity to drive continuous improvement.

Strong organization and planning skills and have demonstrated expertise in providing strategic direction and further developing bench strength.

Coaching, development and organizational leadership skills.

Demonstrated ability to foster positive employee relations.

Strong commitment to quality.

The base pay range for this position is 130,400 - $217,300. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
