At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.Job Purpose/OverviewThe Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting will work closely with the Contract Compliance team and will oversee the work of the accounting team to ensure revenue is reported accurately and completely. This position will implement new revenue accounting policies and ensure proper quote to cash controls are followed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise on the treatment of revenue accounting transactions (under ASC 606) and related financial reporting requirements

Participate in month-end close activities comprising various revenue analyses, booking JEs, account reconciliations and revenue recognition

Review contract write-ups to ensure that revenue is recognized in accordance with ASC 606

Manage a team of accountants including reviewing all work performed and coach for growth and development

Perform period cut-off (period/quarter/year) procedures and prepare schedules and analyses required to support leadership or audits

Partner with order management team, customer success team, sales, legal and IT to ensure that all revenue transactions are accounted for in accordance with company’s revenue policy.

Own the review of ASC 842 transaction files for lease commencements, modifications, and terminations and the research and documentation process for technical questions that may arise

Work closely with the Accounts Receivable Director and Manager on CECL allowances and AR Aging to ensure adequate coverage of bad debts.

May be asked to participate in special projects, and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in accounting Required

CPA strongly preferred

Oracle software experience strongly preferred;

Minimum of three years in a leadership role preferred

7+ years of experience in revenue accounting with a mix of both industry and public accounting firm experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)

Familiarity with ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers

Experience with an Accounting ERP system

Respect of confidential client and organization information

Excellent inter-personal and communication skills

Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects

Good problem-solving, critical thinking, time management and decision-making skills

Ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced, time sensitive, and cross-functional work environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
