Be part of the team that helps protect our country.SNC is a dynamic, state-of-the-art company with a very dynamic ServiceNow platform.The ServiceNow Admin/Developer is part of the team responsible for the health and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This includes platform maintenance/upgrades, designing and implementing small enhancements and project-related transformational changes to the platform. This includes overseeing the work performed by internal ServiceNow citizen developers, and 3rd-party System Integrators.Sierra Nevada Corporation’s ServiceNow Platform team designs, implements, and supports services and offerings in the IT Service Management, ITOM, and Human Resources Management spaces as well as supports shared development spaces in the GRC and Security Operation’s spaces.This ServiceNow Architect a technical subject management expert responsible for the architecture, design, development, administration, and rollout of solutions on the ServiceNow platform.The ServiceNow Architect will work with internal customers, Scrum Masters, Technical Product Managers, ServiceNow developers, and 3rd parties to design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements, fixes, integrations, and configuration changes needed to support the enterprise.As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.This role is open to a hybrid scheduleResponsibilities:

Work with service owners to understand their needs and translate them into ServiceNow requirements.

Compile user requirements into Story requirements.

Develop, test, demo & review the resulting work with the employee to make sure it meets their needs

Perform development and configuration of a variety of areas including, but not limited to Service Portal, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Release / SDLC, Asset Management, Human Resource Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Mobility and Reporting

Provide support and development to, but not limited to, screen tailoring, workflow administration, flow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, automation and custom application development

Obtain and analyze/interpret business requirements to purpose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow.

Answer "how to" technical and application configuration questions.

Develop, maintain, and execute reports to ensure system operation meets performance targets.

Create and maintain system design and operations documentation.

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Participate in, and possibly lead the IT Change Management process, including Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.

Must Haves:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field of study

A higher level degree may substitute for experience

Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience using ServiceNow as an end user, with basic knowledge of reporting, dashboards, and how the platform uses workflows.

Basic knowledge of .NET (C#), WCF, MVC, jQuery, JavaScript

Experience working with some of these web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SOAP, REST)

Ability to understand complex business needs and adapt appropriately.

Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies applicable to the ServiceNow platform.

Superior attention to detail with good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work closely with the Principal Architect, Principle Developer and the ServiceNow team to plan, strategize and roadmap ServiceNow functionality to maintain and anticipate business needs.

Comfortable leading both technical and organizational context discussion

Experience with ITSM (Service Portal, Request, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge)

Basic ITIL understanding

Preferred:

Certified ServiceNow Admin (CSA) Certification.

Micro Certs or certifications in other platform functionalities.

Exposure to Identity Management and Single Sign on/Active Directory integrations.

ITIL certification(s).
