This is a critical part of the firm’s health so you will be working on essential applications that play a key part in the day-to-day compliance with Federal regulations. This includes applications that query and categorize firm-wide data, perform necessary calculations, and provide the results to various dashboards and regulatory reports filed with the Fed.We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to create, maintain, support, and improve complex technology operations for processing large amounts of data pulled from various sources, with special emphasis around continuous improvement (CI/CD) of processes by applying modern engineering principles around TDD and BDD . You will be working with a team of talented technologists and SMEs who bring a lot of energy, focus and fresh ideas that support our mission to provide value by seeing the world “Through Clients' Eyes.”What you haveRequired Qualifications:▪ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.▪ Hands on experience gained through 1-2+ years in a software development role.▪ Experience with full stack application development technologies using C#, REST Web Services, Angular, Relational (SQL/Oracle) databases.▪ Strong critical thinking, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.▪ The ability to communicate your ideas in a clear and concise manner.▪ Working collaboratively with others to solve challenging problems.▪ Follows quality standards to ensure accuracy and completenessPreferred Qualifications:▪ Experience with large data sets including data warehouses.▪ Experience with Cloud technologies (especially PCF).▪ Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.▪ Experience with CI/CD practices.▪ Front end development experience with Angular, Blazor, ReactJS, etc.▪ Assists in analyzing, organizing, and validating requirements"In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities."What’s in it for youAt Schwab, we’re committed to empowering our employees’ personal and professional success.
