Whether through research and development, technology innovation or solution engineering, our people play vital roles in connecting consumers with the products and platforms of tomorrow.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Security Data Analyst will work closely with architecture, engineering, and development teams across all of Information Technology and Cybersecurity to provide data analytics capabilities that allow the Information Security Organization to make data-based decisions.Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze reports based on anomalies

Getting familiar with data and adding observative remarks in reports in business familiar language to communicate effectively with team members, and management

Add intelligence to data by using tools like SIEM, Threat Intel, etc.

Understand the Security reports and be responsible for the presented data

Internal QA on a weekly basis with a mitigation plan to improve the quality of reports

Approach tasks with flexibility and proactively coordinate with the team for end-to-end report delivery on time

Analyze security and business data to help identify security optimizations, efficiencies, and capabilities to help make decisions for the security organization

To keep up to date with security trends, threats, and control measures

Skills, Experience and RequirementsEducation and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, related discipline, or commensurate industry experience

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of cyber security principles, concepts, and technologies

Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security frameworks

Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and authentication mechanisms

Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a strong passion for cyber security

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus

Prior experience in a related role or internship is preferred but not mandatory
