If you have the passion and courage to dream big, we want to build a better tomorrow with you!Reporting directly to the VP, Space CIO with matrixed reporting to the EBDT VP Classified Transformation, this position will be responsible for end to end service delivery of all facets of the IT department in the classified space.In this position you will provide the strategy, leadership, and day-to-day management of the classified transformation teams and IT operations departments inclusive of on and off prem cloud infrastructure, software, hardware, networks, and security. You will assume responsibility and oversight of the entire network and system infrastructure across multiple Lockheed Martin and supplier locations ensuring proper configuration, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of IT systems. You will coordinate and direct all daily operational activities of these departments and provide direction and solutions that enhance mission-critical operations of the IT classified systems.Working with the Chief Architect and Enterprise Classified IT Transformation team, you will implement OneLM IT initiatives such as utilizing the Government FENCES capability (Classified Cloud), ICON Connection, and OneLM environments including DarkStar, LMSPAN, and Common Classified Cloud. You’ll work with the Enterprise Classified IT transformation team to identify and deploy cost effective standards across the full stack of technology for all programs, driving simplification of support and automation of deployments between environments.The candidate must demonstrate exceptionally strong leadership and program management skills, with an ability to influence senior business leadership and influence a cross-functional group towards a unified direction. They must be a people person who inspires trust and confidence in others, enabling them to facilitate and secure buy-in for their directives.Other Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Understand and help guide strategic direction of our classified customers; team with peer directors to help shape direction and solution recommendations with classified customers and industry partners Develop, maintain, and execute the strategic road map for classified IT, ensuring information technology capabilities continually support the overall business’s goals and objectives Establish operational and capital budgets to address the needs of various areas of the classified program IT support, such as system infrastructure, security, networks, and databases Develop key supplier partnerships to enable rapid deployment of new classified constructs, including cloud solutions Closely team with Classified Cyber Security directors, as well as key CIS and business area stakeholders on strategy and execution Stay current on classified cloud capabilities and maintain strategy for leveraging cloud in classified environments Develop staffing and training plan for classified skills sets to ensure certification requirements are met and a pipeline in place to maintain and share staffing needs across business Integrate investments in emerging technology solutions with new service offerings Build and maintain staffing of a high-performing team Provide cyber security oversight and direction to the Space Information Security OrganizationRequired location: Denver COBasic Qualifications: Possess active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance with special access program eligibility Possess US DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to qualify for potentially higher access levels Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10-15 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related graduate degree in a related technical discipline Experience managing financial budgets in excess of $50M per year Demonstrated experience developing and executing enterprise strategies across large teams Experience effectively managing diverse, geographically dispersed, large teams of 200+ people Demonstrated track record of leading and implementing successful strategy development and implementation Experience building and sustaining enterprise level shared classified infrastructure Experience in maintaining multiple classified and unclassified production environments, and keeping it highly reliable, with knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, continuous monitoring, and automation Demonstrated experience working in classified environments, ensuring compliance with national security programs and other government security regulations Demonstrated technical knowledge and leadership in the infrastructure and IT security domains Proven experience in managing multiple enterprise-scale projects concurrently and ability to effectively influence and achieve cost, schedule, and performance objectives Experience implementing agile methodologies, process, and toolsets Proven experience with creating effective executive level presentation material Proven experience communicating across all levels including frequent presentations at the executive level Intimate knowledge of existing classified environments across Space with a deep understanding of emerging classified needs across the business area Proven experience developing and implementing IT deployment automation capabilities Willingness to Travel as required.Desired Skills: Subject matter expert and technical authority in classified disciplines, including operations, logistics and sustainment, enterprise information technology Experience in classified cloud environments and modern infrastructure (AWS, Azure) Working experience in a senior IT or similar position within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, preferably working as a Head of DevOps or Head of IT Ops Significant business experience, ideally in HW/SW intensive systems engineering design, Business Process Re-Engineering, Simulation Based Design/Manufacturing or business management Ability to modernize antiquated IT environmentsSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/PolyOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $195,000 - $325,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
