Apply today to learn more and join the team!A Brief OverviewThe Public Relations Associate Analyst is a self-starter who will play an instrumental role in helping to elevate FirstBank's 'content marketing game' to position the organization as a go-to resource among consumer and business audiences. This individual will be responsible for helping to identify and create quality, engaging thought leadership content, copy and articles, while also supporting the organization's PR, communications, digital and marketing functions. Their efforts will help elevate FirstBank's reputation among internal and external stakeholders.What you will do

Creates effective content to favorably shape FirstBank’s image and brand identity.

Helps identify and package relevant, trending topics into digestible, engaging written or visual content (such as listicles, short-form social videos, reels, and infographics) to meet FirstBank's business objectives.

Supports internal communications, including helping to create, review and edit copy for companywide newsletters, intranet and other internal channels.

Evaluates trends and proprietary data, including FirstBank's web, blog traffic, click-through rates, etc. to help inform and optimize content marketing and other PR strategies.

Partners with external agencies to execute Marketing/ PR campaigns and meet objectives.

Supports management in reviewing and editing communication and marketing materials, including web, social copy, blog posts, articles, announcements, etc.

Manages long-term and short-term projects, ensuring deadlines are met and goals are achieved.

Organizes and implements various PR and content marketing related campaigns, programs and video production projects.

Helps to develop reports that summarize key successes and challenges for newly executed campaigns and initiatives.

Provides recommendations to improve ongoing PR and content marketing efforts.

Ensures the timely delivery of FirstBank content and branded assets with event and media partners.

Maintains strong relationships with vendor and sponsorship partners.

Helps devise and maintain FirstBank's editorial and content calendar.

Analyzes creative concepts and campaigns in order to provide independent judgment and feedback.

Provides support for general FirstBank marketing, PR/communications, email and social media initiatives.

Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Understands and complies with all provisions of the Safety in the Workplace policy.

Minimum Requirements

3 years of previous Copywriting, Editorial, Public Relations, Communications or Marketing experience

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in related field. A combination of post-high school education, job related certification and related experience equivalent to 3 years may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Requirements

4-plus years of previous Copywriting, Editorial, Public Relations, Communications or Marketing experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Business Management/Administration or a related field

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Well organized, detail-oriented and able to respond to shifting priorities

Knowledge of content creation and Adobe Suite programs (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Final CutPro, video platforms)

Understanding of Associated Press Style guidelines

Knowledge of how to leverage social media channels for marketing and communication purposes

Ability to work as a collaborative team player

Comprehension of how to execute communication/PR strategies to meet company objectives

Understanding of how to create and package content for both internal and external stakeholders

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Frequently remains stationary throughout a typical business day

Frequently operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other rooms

Occasionally positions self to access drawers and shelves of various heights

Frequently reaches for and handles paperwork and files

Constantly communicates with customers, coworkers, and management in-person and on the phone

Must be able to exchange accurate information
