Description We are seeking a Credit Clerk to join our team in LAKEWOOD, Colorado. This role focuses on the processing and maintaining of customer credit applications and records in the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be tasked with resolving customer credit inquiries and monitoring customer credit accounts to ensure prompt payment of delinquent accounts. Offering an exciting opportunity for those adept in Customer Service, Financial Analysis, and Account Reconciliation.Responsibilities: Process and manage customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Maintain and update customer credit records regularly Handle and resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect overdue payments Collaborate with the broader team to improve processes and systems related to customer credit Conduct financial analysis to assess customer creditworthiness Reconcile customer accounts and transactions as necessary Provide excellent customer service in all interactions related to credit processing and inquiries Ensure compliance with all industry standards and regulations in all credit-related tasks Assist in other accounting tasks as needed. Requirements Applicant must possess strong skills in Customer Service, Financial Analysis, and Account Reconciliation Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated ability in managing accounts payable and receivable Experience in preparing financial reports and statements Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a team Strong organizational and time management skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred Prior experience in an accounting role is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
