The Navy Neptune Cloud team is seeking a Scrum Master to support their effort.This is a REMOTE working opportunity .Our Navy Cloud team is looking for a Scrum Master to help our Neptune Enterprise Cloud Management team. Neptune serves as the single point of entry for Cloud Services for the Naval Environment (Navy and USMC). Our Neptune team is building a best in class portal for users to obtain Cloud services and employ a concierge team/process to assist mission owners obtain cloud services through the various Cloud Service Managers.Our team is looking for immediate assistance from a Scum Master for the following:

Lead the NECM Team with the daily Scrum meetings.

Work with the team in performing the various Scrum ceremonies.

Manage the ServiceNow Scrum Board

Assist teams with navigating the sprint planning and documenting the User stories/Sprint plan.

Helps Product owners and Developers navigate PI planning

Works with the Team lead to work through functional documentation required by Customer.

Manages team velocity and sprint burn down reporting

Typical Scrum Master experience:

Experience leading scrum activities in an Agile software development environment.

Experience with ITSM principles and ITIL best practices.

Leadership skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.

Software development and release management experience.

Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Working and applicable knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.

Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.

Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, etc.

Experience in applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach.

Participates in special projects as required.

​Basic Qualifications:

BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master within IT development programs

​ Scrum Master and/or Product Owner Certification preferred

The likely salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
