Senior Software Test Engineer (Hybrid/Onsite)

Successful candidate will be part of an experienced Test Engineering team responsible for testing Gateway Services applications (Visa Message Gateway, Extended Access, Visa File Gateway, Visa File Exchange Service) which are critical applications that control and monitor transaction flow between endpoints and VisaNet Integrated Payment (V.I.P.) system. The Sr. SW Test Engineer for Network Processing Platform & Reliability Test Engineering team will be based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The successful candidate will support Test Engineering efforts for the Gateway Services applications and work with Gateway Services Development and other peer Test Engineering organizations to ensure high levels of software quality and seamless code releases. Essential FunctionsWork with the team in developing testing strategy for the project and determining the appropriate balance of manual and automated testsCreate manual test plans, test cases, and test scriptsDevelop and enhance automated test frameworks and test cases for the different types of tests employedExecute and report on the full testing suite of both manual and automated testsWork with Development and other relevant teams to analyze, debug and resolve design and software issuesSupport cross-functional teams in integration test effortsDevelop software to augment existing test automation toolsSetup, configure, and maintain test environmentsHands-on testing on Linux and Windows platformWork effectively with test lead and test engineers and provide technical guidance to peers as neededThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
