Job Description

The Senior Manager will be a member of the Administrative Services team and will be focused on Debit and CTCA applications. This role will entitle assessing market trends for Debit processing and innovate on go to market strategy and support implement new technologies like API-based solution designed for scaling FinTech's and transforming Financial Institutions. Will be a key member responsible for bringing Debit and CTCA products to market globally and help drive product operational success.

To bring thought leadership, a strategic mindset, transparency, and agility to the role. And will work closely with Product, Engineering teams, DevOps, Client Services, and other teams to identify and solve complex and/or ambiguous problems. Will also manage senior stakeholders across functions while designing to grow our products in Debit and CTCA portfolio

Support in the development of the Product vision, business plans and overall development roadmap. Leverage data to inform commercialization and product roadmap decisions. Present findings and recommendations to business unit leadership. Influence key internal and external stakeholders to define and adopt appropriate metrics, goals and processes to achieve business objectives. Partner with leadership across Product, Engineering, Sales, Client Success teams to align on key decisions

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure the product is meeting the customer experiences and operational metrics expected to deliver on the DPS promise of operational excellence.
  • Invest and support in technology transformation – CI/CD, Infrastructure, Containerization etc
  • Security Posture – Remediations/Scans/Patching follow throughs
  • Explore and Innovate – Investment is innovation and development of people. Preparing to deliver by creating a road map with cross teams – Creating working agreements
  • Promote – Continues Learning/Growth and investing in cross training, set clear goals and improve culture of recognition
  • Customer Care – Follow through's, holding each other accountable, seeking transparent and clear feedback
  • Demonstrate and guide your team to model and exemplify Visa’s core values, maintaining a delivery-focused approach
  • Recognize, emphasize and promote the growth and refinement of the Visa Leadership Principles throughout your team of direct reports
  • Cultivate, support and promote an organizational culture that provides for high performance, high morale, collaboration and innovation
  • Encourage and empower direct reports to make appropriate technical decisions and recommendations
  • Actively manage resources in alignment with program/project needs and priorities
  • Design and coordinate the short-term automation goals and tool implementations to achieve long-term supportability and pending technology shifts.
  • Promote team engagement as well as the ongoing mentoring and professional development of highly skilled technical professionals in alignment with both their career aspirations and the needs of Visa
  • Be a proactive partner with Technology and Business teams to identify and deliver to clear expectations and requirements
  • Oversee, mentor and assist engineers in all aspects
  • Clearly communicate both formally and informally, project/program status, risk and impact, escalating when and where appropriate
  • Encourage and emphasize continual improvement throughout processes and procedures
  • Proactively champion the delivery of applications with the highest levels of quality and best in class processes

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 5 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree

Preferred Qualifications 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD Prefer 6+ years of experience managing a team Prefer 6+ years of experience in financial and banking industry business, optimally with experience in payment processing, billing, and collection domains Prefer 8+ years of hands-on software testing or development experience In-depth working knowledge of Web/API applications Experience with management software tools such as Application Lifecycle Management, Jira or similar Experience with Authorization Processing, Risk products and Security a plus Proven high-impact player with an impressive track record of execution, collaborative and thought leadership Experience leading geographically distributed teams in a highly matrixed environment General business skills including budget administration, planning, negotiation skills, and project management Must be detail-focused and have business oriented thinking Proven ability of handling multi-tasks in a dynamic environment Excellent business writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

The position starts at $120,300. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, this position is eligible for bonus and equity.
