Description of JobJOB DUTIESCleans/disinfects restrooms, bathrooms and athletic shower rooms in athletic facilities, including toilets, urinals, wash bowls, showers, mirrors, partitions, doors, floors, walls and circulation vents; restocks soap and paper products; w ashes entrance windows, chalkboards, trays, and erasers; empties pencil sharpeners; cleans/disinfects water founds, lab sinks, doors; assures classrooms, labs, offices and dorm rooms are secure when appropriate; reports signs of insect or rodent infestation; clean walk-off mats; spot-clean walls, partitions, vending machines, and doors; sweep outside entryways; cleans telephones; dust furniture, flat surfaces, blinds and vents; cleans/disinfects kitchens; empties and cleans waste containers; dust and damp mops or vacuums floors in circulation, classrooms, offices, receptions, and public areas; burnishes floors; moves furniture and desks when appropriate; conducts on-going inspection on all cleaning equipment; shovels snow and other related duties as assigned. OTHER DUTIES: Project or deep clean and disinfect restrooms, bathrooms, shower, and locker rooms; project or deep clean entryways, circulation, reception areas, classrooms, residences, and offices; project or deep clean furniture and fixtures; wash windows. Project or deep clean carpets in entryways, circulation, reception areas, classrooms, and offices; scrub or strip and refinish hard floors. Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal RightsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience Only: Six (6) months of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to the position.

Related work may include custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience; part-time experience will be prorated.
