Description Probate ParalegalRobert Half has partnered with a national law firm in Denver on the search for a 4+ years’ Trust, Estate & Probate Paralegal to join their team on a direct-hire basis. Prior working experience in the practice area of probate and trust administration is required for this position. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Track and meet deadlines for trust administration and probate cases
Manage calendar for attorney
Assist with the valuation and identification of estate assets
Communicate effectively with clients, beneficiaries, and other professionals involved in the probate process
Maintain accurate and organized files.
Stay up-to-date on relevant probate laws and procedures
Draft, proo, and file legal documents with the courts
Assist with tax preparation
Conduct legal research
Bill time as a Paralegal
Case management
Scheduling, coordinating meetings
Other responsibilities as assigned
Candidates interested in this position should work well on a team, should be a self-starter, and should have the ability to manage multiple priorities. A Paralegal Certificate is highly preferred but is not required. Our client does offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. This Firm does offer a hybrid work schedule. Expertise in Probate Litigation
Experience with tax law
Accurate, attentive, and experience handling sensitive or confidential information
Should possess a thorough knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets
Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
Capability to own projects, writing and negotiating, planning and organizing
