Description Robert Half has an immediate need for a proven Bookkeeper. If you have worked with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then you may be the right candidate for this Bookkeeper opportunity. Located in the Greenwood Village, Colorado area, this Bookkeeper position is a short-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity that you do not want to miss. This role will be 100% in office to start however once converted there is an opportunity to work remotely on Friday's or work 4/10's and have Friday's off. Key responsibilities:· Enter data, all transactional accounting · Research and rectifying account discrepancies· Help with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits· Reconcile and balance company accounts – 60 accounts, but have main 10. o Check runs are about 20-50 weekly · Carry out other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned· Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable – 70% AP vis 30% ARo 50-100 weekly invoices, or 300-400 monthly invoices· Coordinate transactions between internal and district entitiesRequirements - Well-founded grasp of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Proven knowledge of Aging Accounts
Foundational knowledge in Expense Reporting
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Pivot Table experience required
Strong familiarity with Data reporting
General familiarity with QuickBooks
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
3+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
