Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join our professional services team located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. In this role, you'll be tasked with handling the administrative and clerical needs of the Accounts Payable finance department in an efficient and timely manner. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Assure accurate and timely processing of daily controls and processes, adhering to company policies. Provide exceptional customer service to our internal business partners. Assist in both internal and external audits as required. Sort, log, photocopy, and file invoices, checks, and other documents as part of daily department mail distribution. Expedite special handling of checks and verify, log, and mail them. Handle the resolution of Accounts Payable issues, including the processing of expense reports. Update and reconcile sub-ledger to General Ledger, and process checks. Perform special projects as assigned. Match and batch code as part of accounts payable procedures. Requirements Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education level. Prior experience in Accounts Payable (AP) or a similar role is essential. Proven ability in Auditing is required. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data. Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments. Willingness to work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines.
