Senior Water Resources Engineer

AECOM is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to be based in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.The successful candidate will be responsible for high quality project delivery, with a focus on managing services for stream/river restoration, fish passage design, and fluvial geomorphology. As a Senior Water Resources Engineer, they should bring unique expertise on specific technologies or processes, will be able to apply acquired expertise and knowledge to solve business challenges, provide coaching to peers and team members, and will be sought for technical experience and able to influence suppliers. The job involves:Proven experience in stream/river restoration from planning to modeling to detailed design and construction supervisionHydrologic, hydraulic, geomorphic, and sediment transport modeling (e.g., SRH-2D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS 1D/2D)Stream geomorphic assessmentsStream restoration, enhancement, and bank stabilization designProject management (including client management), technical proposal and report writing.Team management, including supervision and/or mentoring.Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
