Description Robert Half is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk for a well respected organization in the communications industry. In this position as an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a long-term contract / temporary to hire position located in the Fort Morgan, Colorado area.What you get to do every single day

Rectify discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance

Support Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing

Post financial information to journals and ledgers

Assemble documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes

Put together statements and reports that require utilization of an assortment of sources Requirements - Experience with high volume data entry

Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested

5+ years of relevant experience

Experience with billing

Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)

General familiarity with Purchasing Procurement

Accounts Payable (AP) experience

Dynamics GP experience

Proven knowledge of Inventory Records

Accounts Payable (AP) experience

Well-founded grasp of Reconcile Inventory

Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
