About Us

goHomePort was launched in 2020 by a highly seasoned team of investors and operators with a mission to make RV ownership easy. goHomePort is the parent company for three synergistic businesses that serve its core mission:

1) goHomePort Storage (focused on acquiring, upgrading and optimizing RV and boat storage properties throughout the United States),

2) goHomePort Rentals (an innovative RV rental management business built around goHomePort’s network of storage properties and additional markets); and,

3) goHomePort Service & Repair (RV repair business designed to meet the need for quality RV repair outside of the dealer channel).

We are rapidly expanding our portfolio across the country and innovating new ways for goHomePort to deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers.

Job Opportunity

GoHomePort is a collection of businesses all designed to simplify the RV ownership experience. GoHomePort owns and operates storage facilities, runs repairs and maintenance centers, and also operates a rentals business designed to provide income to RV owners or investors looking to monetize their RV assets. For most owners, RV’s sit idle most of the time while still carrying the costs of insurance and storage and maintenance. The goHomePort Rentals team takes over the management of those RV’s and rents them to people looking to explore the country. Fueled by the growth of our marketplace, we’re looking to add to our on-site Operations team in Colorado.

Responsibilities

Reporting to our Colorado Operations Team, you will work with an eco system of partners to support new RV onboarding, storage, and service and repairs to ensure the fleet is in excellent condition, mechanically safe, and ready to be rented at all times. You will also provide a world class rental experience to renters looking to take an adventure in one of your RV’s.

We are a true scrappy startup. We work hard, and we play hard. And while we have various backgrounds and passions outside of work, we are unified in our commitment to being the leader in P2P RV Rentals and providing a premium best in class RV Ownership & Rental experience. This is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned Rentals operator, Fleet Manager, to come in early and have the autonomy to build the processes, tools, policies, and team to deliver against that mission.

Preparation for Rental:

Prepare RVs for rental with light cleaning, restocking, and ensuring all systems are in working order.

Conduct thorough pre-rental inspections to identify any issues or repairs needed as well as post-rental inspections.

Collaborate with the rental team to schedule and prioritize RV availability.

Pickup and Drop-off Coordination:

Assist customers during the pickup and drop-off process, providing instructions and answering any questions they may have.

Coordinate and schedule pickup and drop-off times to optimize efficiency.

Conduct post-rental inspections to assess the condition of the RV upon return.

Provide occasional assistance in delivery and pickup of RVs. Experience towing is a must.

Light Repair Works:

Address minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor plumbing issues, or troubleshooting electrical problems.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to escalate and coordinate more complex repairs as needed.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Offer guidance on RV operation and features to enhance the customer experience.

Provide occasional after hours assistance via phone

RV Experience and Maintenance:

Ideally, candidates should have previous experience with RVs and possess a background in RV maintenance.

Utilize knowledge of RV systems and mechanics to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to RV operations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for each RV, including service records and customer interactions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience with RVs and a background in RV maintenance is highly desirable.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Ability to handle basic repairs and maintenance tasks.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Must be available for occasional nights, weekends and holidays.

If you have a passion for RVs, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and thrive on providing exceptional customer experiences, we invite you to apply for the position of Lot Operations Attendant at goHomePort. Join us on the journey of creating memorable adventures for our customers!
