Windsor, CO | Full-Time | Year-Round | $65,000-$75,000 Salary Position

We are seeking a motivated Maintenance & Enhancements Superintendent to join our team and help lead our field operations with excellence.

Position Overview

As a Maintenance & Enhancements Superintendent, you will coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment for landscape maintenance contracts. You’ll manage field foremen and spray foremen, ensure labor efficiency, oversee enhancement sales, and deliver high-quality results for our customers. This is a year-round leadership role with direct impact on company growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule crews and equipment for maintenance contracts using HindSite software. Schedule and reschedule as needed using a four-week look ahead. Address remarks in work orders.

Pursue and obtain Spray QS license.

Maintain inventory of small tools and supplies for crews.

Initiate ordering of chemicals and fertilizer.

Work with foremen to complete jobs at/or less than estimated hours.

Approve labor hours/cost.

Proactively address questions or concerns/interact with HOAs, homeowner clients, businesses, and sub-contractors.

Acquire new maintenance contracts for the company while retaining current contracts.

Actively assess properties and submit proposals for enhancements to all contracted customers annually.

Check each truck before crew leaves for services to ensure that correct equipment is loaded, crew is seat belted, and other checks for accuracy and safety.

Lead monthly safety talks as requested.

Attend training as available to continue career growth and stay up to date with best current practices.

Manage snow removal operations on a rotation basis.

Aggressively pursue certifications and self-education within the green industry.

Coordinate training for new hires.

Provide performance feedback to direct reports.

Assist with ensuring company policies and procedures are met without compromise, consistent monitoring, and training to ensure crews understand expectations.

Complete property checks for contract customers monthly.

Work with Irrigation Supervisor to manage irrigation for maintenance contracts.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance or related industry, with supervisory/management experience (including training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; industry sales, bid processes.)

Experience with a variety of commercial landscape maintenance equipment.

Fluently speak English and Spanish a plus!

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Reliable and strong work ethic.

Ability to manage multiple crews, schedules, and priorities.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Impeccable written and oral communication skills.

Ability to lift 75lbs. or more.

Ability to work in temperature and weather extremes.

Knowledge of landscaping equipment, materials, and best practices.

Willingness to pursue industry certifications and continued education.

Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
