(Images of the shop are old. We have a new Hunter alignment machine, and the floors aren't as shiny anymore.)
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician. We are currently looking to hire a Technician with 5+ years of professional tech experience. You will need to be able to diagnose and complete repairs with little to no guidance. If you consider yourself an "A tech" or "Master Tech," that's who we're primarily looking for at this time.
Certifications aren't required, but they are a plus. I'm a master ASE-certified technician myself, so having ASE certifications helps me understand the level of knowledge you have. But not required
I started this company to create a place I wanted to work at. I got sick of the service advisors and managers' nonsense. I've had Advisors shorting me hours to make their numbers look better, or overpromising the job to the customer, and now it's my problem, and I have to rush. Just to name a few things, can you relate to any of that? I wanted to build a business with integrity and to take care of my techs the way I wanted when I was a tech. In Fort Collins, there are a lot of good shops in town. This is a good place to live, and lots of cars to go around.
We primarily work on Asia and domestic vehicles.
We are a paperless shop. Each tech is provided a laptop or computer with a second monitor.
Our service advisors estimate and present everything; our techs recommend getting you as many hours as possible. At the same time, we maintain the highest standards of ethics and do what is right for our customers.
We offer a 5-day workweek with no weekends, paid holidays, paid time off, a 401k with company matching, and a Weekly tool allowance. Access to our shop on the weekends for personal and family vehicles. Plus, we have a private lake nearby that all employees have access to. It's perfect for camping, fishing, and jet skiing. It's a great spot for kids, dogs, and the whole family (see photo).
At ASR, we're willing to cover the cost of your additional training and certifications. If you're motivated, your success is in your hands. I'm happy to give you the space and opportunity to grow. (If that's what you're looking for)
Next steps:
- Send me an email with your resume or a description of your work history, training, and experience.
Also, let me know if you're currently working or not, and how soon you'd like to start.
- Send a text to my cell letting me know you sent a resume.
I get so many scam calls that I never answer a number I don't recognize. Text is the best way to contact me.
