Cabinet Assembly position
Established local custom cabinet company looking to fill cabinet assembly position.
The main responsibility of this position requires the assembly of European style frameless cabinetry with an emphasis on mounting doors & fronts and installing specialty convenience items such as lazy susan, pocket door, pullout and other hardware. Applicants must have understanding of standard hand tools, basic woodworking skills, be physically able to move & organize cabinets & miscellaneous items, read & understand shop drawings & cut lists and contribute to quality control.
Good appearance, personal presentation and the ability to work well with others in a shop environment required.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble Euro-style cabinetry
- Organize & install all components per directives
- Prep for delivery
- Assist in other areas of shop when needed
- Contribute quality control
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Familiarity with basic hand tools, including drills, clamps & tape measure (metric experience helpful)
- Read & comprehend shop drawings & cut lists
- Safe operation of power tools, including table & power mitre saws, clamp press & others
- Good personal appearance & professional presentation
- Personally organized, self-motivated, dependable & focused
PAY BASED ON:
- Previous assembly experience
- Woodworking/Cabinet industry experience
- Flexibility & attitude
