Auto Shop Foreman
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Shop Foreman to oversee the daily operations of our busy auto repair shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for automotive repair.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day workflow, assigning tasks to technicians, and ensuring timely completion of repairs.
Technician Supervision: Lead, motivate, and train a team of technicians to maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize comebacks.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of parts and supplies to optimize stock and minimize downtime.
Customer Service: Interact with customers to address concerns, provide updates on repair progress, and build strong customer relationships.
Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of shop equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
ASE Certifications: Preferred but not required.
Valid Driver's License: Required.
