Apprentice Sign Installer:
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $23-$30/hr. Depending on Experience
Location: Loveland, CO 80538
Experience: Minimum 6 months of general construction experience. We are looking for someone that wants to learn how to become a Journeyman Sign Installer. Apply directly to this posting for immediate consideration!
Responsibilities:
Assist with basic tasks such as carrying materials, setting up equipment, and cleaning work areas.
Ability to learn from experienced co-workers by observing journey-level workers.
Have basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools and other common construction equipment.
Ability to learn how to read and understand blueprints, plans, and drawings.
Basic construction skills such as measuring, cutting, drilling and fastening materials.
Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE.
Assist in the handling, storage, and inventory of supplies needed for each project.
Assist in installing signs, components associated with sign installation and perform basic construction tasks as directed.
Must be comfortable working at extreme heights in all weather conditions.
Requirements:
At least 6 months general construction knowledge
Background with concrete/welding/electrical/assembly
Valid driver’s license
OSHA 10 – preferred
Forklift experience – preferred
CDL – preferred
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and move about the shop.
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds.
Must be able to safely use a ladder.
