Mobilegov is seeking a UI Designer to support a project in Fort Collins, CO.
Job Requirements
Strong JavaScript Frameworks
Strong Web Development (HTML5, CSS3, jQuery)
Proficient with design tools like Sketch, InVision, Zeppelin, and others
Experience building single-page applications consuming REST API
Good knowledge of design concepts including: interface design, prototyping, and design systems development
Demonstrated UI design skills with a strong portfolio - can point to at least 3 apps that you have designed and released
Able to communicate design ideas to product and development teams and project stakeholders
Detail-oriented and have highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Job Responsibilities
Improve designs based on testing, interviews (user research), surveys, etc.
Work with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements for new and existing features
Release and refine components and workflows
Participate in product decisions from definition to release
Create low, medium, and high fidelity designs
Craft the interactions, visuals, and design assets for mobile and web platforms
Collaborate with developers during sprints to answer questions and validate features as they are being developed
Establish best practices and standards to be used by product and engineering
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 3 years experience as UI/Product Designer
Experience in responsive development
Experience implementing 508 Compliance
High level of participation in several enterprise-level or consumer applications
