Ranch Hand General

We are looking for full time and part time people to work on our 500 head alpaca ranch. We are looking for people who know what hard work is and the rewards that can come from that work. Duties include cleaning up after the animals, feeding, moving animals within the ranch, watering, fence repair, mowing, snow removal and any other jobs which are needed to be completed. You will be trained in all aspects of the job which will eventually include giving medication, trimming nails and other animal care duties. You will have two consecutive days off and after 90 days you will start accruing vacation and sick time. If you are applying for part time, we will need to determine your schedule at the time of hire. You must have reliable transportation as the ranch is 32 miles north of Ft. Collins. You must be willing to work in any kind of weather condition, rain, snow, wind or sunshine. You must be able to walk on uneven ground and be able to carry at least 50lbs. We work year round including holidays with a modified schedule. Reliability is a must! Starting pay is $16.50 an hour. We pay you from the time you arrive until you leave for the day which includes a 1 hour paid lunch break. Work hours now are 7:30 am- 4:00pm.
