Seeking Apprentice Gardeners
Looking for part-time or full-time Garden Apprentices to join our team. We work in the Fort Collins area and generally visit 2-6 different maintenance clients per day and perform the following tasks:
weeding, deadheading, mulching, light irrigation work, plantings, etc.
We generally work M-F 8-4:30 or 7-3:30. Must have reliable transportation.

Requirements / Desired Qualities:
Preferred that you have at least 1 year experience working seasonally i.e. farming, landscaping, gardening, etc.
Able to identify common plants used in the Colorado landscape trade, we can help.
General horticultural knowledge, bonus points for having taken horticulture classes.
Attention to detail and patterns
Persistence and ability to work long days in the heat with a good attitude
Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and fluctuation of temperatures
Safely load/unload pick-up trucks with tools, materials & plant debris
Lift 50 lbs multiple times per day
Hold a variety of physical positions for extended periods
Repeatedly get up and down while working + Hand dexterity and strength
Duration of Apprenticeship:
Seeking One-two Persons, April/May - November, up to 32 hours per week
Seeking One-two Persons, May - August, up to 32 hours per week
Seeking Apprenticeship participants interested in returning for a 2nd year,
with more management training and professional experience available.
