Job Description – Food Runner/Busser
Job Description:
Delivers an excellent customer experience through attentive and friendly service
Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Delivers food to tables and ensures guests have all they need
Busses vacated tables with a sense of urgency
Assists guests by clearing away dishes, glassware, and refilling beverages if needed
Empties trash and spot sweeps when necessary
Promotes an atmosphere of teamwork by assisting team members
Communicates table status to host/hostess in order to ensure faster turn times
Job Requirements and Skills:
Must be friendly and smile frequently
Availability to work weekends is a must
Physically able to stand for hours, walk long distances, and carry up to 35 lbs.
Ability to perform calmly and effectively under stressful conditions
Good oral communication skills
Have an understanding of hygiene and food safety rules (or be able to learn)
Ability to muti-task
Prior restaurant experience preferred
