The Building Services Facility (BSF) Building Supervisor is a supervisor over a building complex of the Housing & Dining Facilities organization through first-level oversight. Under the general supervision of the Building Services & Operations Manager this position is responsible for all supervisory duties of the Building Services team for a team of up to fifteen FTE and student or non-student hourly staff in a University Housing Residence Hall complex, Dining Hall or Services Building and has total ownership of the day-to-day operation of the assigned buildings.

Minimum Qualifications:
Three (3) years of full-time experience providing custodial services for a commercial cleaning employer,
of which must have included one (1) year of supervisory/work lead experience guiding a team in the execution of job tasks
Preferred Qualifications;
Experience building and maintaining a positive work culture within a custodial team or similar environment demonstrating leadership and interpersonal skills.
Delegation skills in a high-volume environment with the ability to prioritize ensuring the execution of tasks with experience adjusting to changing work demands, priorities, and deadlines.
Experience in providing a high level of customer service to both external and internal customers.
Field experience in one of the following: Within a school district, commercial campus, residential multi-unit apartment complex, healthcare facility, assisted living facility, hotel or other similar environments
Responsible for determining the best use of resources, both human and fiscal, to complete work in a timely manner
Experience with computer software and various mobile devices to manage work orders and communicate with team
Experience with collaborating and sharing information with a variety of stakeholders
Understanding, use and knowledge of safe work practices.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
The ability to be team-focused and reliable.
