Production Employee – MouCo Cheese Company
MouCo Cheese Company is looking for a dedicated Production Employee to join our team. This role is hands-on and team-oriented, with responsibilities that include cheese-making, cleaning, sanitation, packaging, and quality control.
Schedule & Hours:
30–40 hours per week
Primarily Monday–Friday with some weekend work as needed
Start time: 6:00 am – 8:00 am
End time: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm (depending on workload)
Job Expectations:
High attention to detail; follow strict production, sanitation, and safety standards
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new tasks quickly
Self-motivated and dependable
Ability to work in a physically demanding role
Lift up to 50 lbs
Consistently lift, bend, and stay on your feet throughout the day
Work in hot and humid environments
Team player; willing to rotate tasks to help create a fully trained team
Food enthusiast (“foodie” mindset)
Valid driver’s license (stick shift driving is a bonus, no special class required)
Preferred Experience (not required):
Kitchen, fermentation, food manufacturing, or cheese-making experience
Compensation & Growth:
Starting at $18/hour with opportunities for increases. Pay raises are based on your work ethic, ability to learn, and willingness to apply yourself.
