Our work supports CSU’s Principles of Community and we are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion as we help one another discover and meet their potential while aiming to set the standard for IT throughout higher education.Position SummaryThis position is responsible for the day-to-day support of computing resources and systems and for providing exceptional customer service through our help desk system, email, phone and in-person service to all of the programs and departments within their assigned department(s) or college. This position also may have direct responsibility for systems and student workers who may also be assigned to a department or college. They may be responsible for training and supervising a team of student workers.Required Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. Candidates with a High School Diploma (or GED ) and equivalent related professional experience (3 or more years) will be considered for employment with this position (without the required bachelor’s degree or other post-secondary education)

Strong written communication skills

Hands-on experience in the following tasks and systems (or similar):

Managing Active Directory Objects

Technical experience with the most current version of Windows and/or MacOS

At least 2 years of cumulative experience performing tasks in the following areas (or similar):

IT break-fix support, software support, hardware installation, IT maintenance activities

Preferred Job Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to offer a high level of customer service

Demonstrated ability for a high level of written and verbal communication

Experience with print server management

Experience with helpdesk and inventory management systems

Experience using Windows imaging with MS SCCM or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit or closely related imaging system.

Experience managing or implementing MS SCCM

At least 1 year of experience formally supervising or mentoring employees

4 + years of experience in IT break-fix support, software support, hardware installation and repair, IT maintenance activities

Provide technical support and customer service to faculty and staff of assigned department/college through the helpdesk system, email, phone, and in-person for their IT issues. Technical duties include: installation, upgrading, maintenance/updates, virus/malware remediation, and troubleshooting IT related issues

Engage vendors for warranty repair services

Train/mentor/lead student employees and develop on-the-job training options

Act as point of escalation for IT issues for other team members

Manage the imaging, JAMF and printer server systems

Participate in planning of projects related area of responsibility

Create, maintain, and review documentation

Other duties as necessary to provide technical support and customer service
