A doctoral degree in statistics or a closely related field, and a commitment to high–quality research in statistics and excellence in teaching are required. The focus of this search is on researchers working in applied probability, statistical learning or data science, with preference given to researchers who made contributions to statistical theory underlying some of these fields. However, all exceptionally strong scholars who contributed to the areas listed above are encouraged to apply.The Assistant Professor position will also have duties commencing August 2021. A doctoral degree in statistics or a closely related field, and a commitment to high–quality research in statistics and excellence in teaching are required. The focus of this search is on researchers working in high-dimensional probability, statistical learning or data science, with preference given to researchers who made contributions to statistical theory underlying some of these fields.
