Job Description:
- The Commercial Landscape Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple commercial landscape projects, with a strong focus on team performance, contract compliance, financial performance, and schedule management.
- This role requires exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills to maintain project profitability while ensuring superior project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
- Thoroughly review and maintain detailed knowledge of all project contracts
- Manage and document all contract changes and amendments
- Ensure strict adherence to contract specifications and requirements
- Use contract stipulations effectively to resolve project issues and disputes
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all contractual obligations
Financial Management:
- Track and manage weekly project profit and loss statements
- Calculate weekly completed revenue based on completed work
- Monitor project costs against budget in real-time
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality
- Forecast project financial performance and cash flow
- Process and validate progress billing documentation
Schedule Management:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
- Perform weekly schedule updates and progress tracking
- Coordinate with general contractors on timeline adjustments
- Manage resource allocation across project timelines
- Identify and mitigate schedule risks proactively
Team Coordination:
- Collaborate effectively with general contractors and their teams
- Lead internal landscape crews and subcontractors
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors
- Maintain clear communication channels with all stakeholders
- Facilitate problem-solving between project parties
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial landscape project management experience
- Proven experience in contract administration and interpretation
- Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L management
- Proficiency in project scheduling software
- Excellence in Microsoft Excel and project management tools
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field
- PMP Certification
- Experience with Integra (BOSS) landscape construction and maintenance software
- Knowledge of commercial landscape construction methods
- Understanding of local building codes and regulations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in various landscape project management softwares
- Strong capability in financial tracking tools
- Experience with scheduling software
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Knowledge of CRM and project documentation systems
