- The WiFi Technical Analyst will work directly with the Director of WiFi and Shared Software assisting with managing variety of delivery-impacting tasks.
- During any given day, analyst will be asked to help drive get status on high-priority defects, outstanding functional delivery, or help explain the various behaviors being exhibited by the systems and the reason(s) why.
- As needed, serve as a back-up for the defect manager, Daily status updates on test execution and defects found are to be provided to both technical and business stakeholders.
- The candidate will represent the Excelacom brand as a consultant
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related field
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in testing
- Full life-cycle testing delivery life cycle along with exposure to evaluating, coordinating and creating deliverables; meeting with customers and resolving issues
- Familiar with simultaneously managing multiple priorities, tasks and coordinating various channels of communication
- Comfortable working across functional boundaries to connect-the-dots between IT organizations and delivery teams
- 2 -3 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry
- 1 - 2 year of experience in Consulting (US-based or foreign)
- Testing experience with good understanding of Software Testing Lifecycle Ability to quickly learn the business processes, client product, and technology architecture by utilizing all available resources (i.e. project documents)
- Ability to learn and explain impact of defects to cross-functional teams of developers, testers, program managers, and executive stakeholders
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to take initiative and desire to achieve subject matter expertise in the program
- Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment and being part of a great team
- Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
