Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in ENGLEWOOD, Colorado. The Staff Accountant will be a key member of our team, with responsibilities including processing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and managing general ledgers in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities: Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate Processing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) in a timely manner Managing and maintaining the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate Utilizing software such as SAP and MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for various accounting tasks Dealing with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to streamline and integrate business processes Preparing journal entries and assisting with month-end close procedures Taking responsibility for other tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger as required. Requirements Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar capacity. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Experience with Bank Reconciliations is essential. Familiarity with General Ledger management and Journal Entries. Demonstrated ability to handle Month End Close procedures. Proficiency in using SAP software for accounting tasks. Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is a plus. Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning processes and systems. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work. Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles. Willingness to continue learning and improving accounting skills.
