We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsI. Position Summary:The Outpatient Program Coordinator will serve as the surgery scheduling and billing expert for the Burn and Reconstructive Center. The Coordinator will obtain CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis codes and other clinical information as required by the physician’s office in order to obtain prior authorizations for the patient’s surgeries and outpatient clinic visits. The Outpatient Program Coordinator will also be responsible for obtaining authorizations for all outpatient surgery procedures, clinic procedures, and gap exceptions. They will coordinate and schedule patient’s surgeries with the Swedish Operating Room scheduling team, and maintain a surgery schedule calendar and detailed documentation pertaining to all processes related to patient’s surgery scheduling.In addition to scheduling, the Coordinator will assist the Clinic Manager in billing responsibilities such as the collection and inputting of all billing and charges for inpatient and outpatient provider visits and claims denial management. Other duties as assigned in order to support the Outpatient Burn and Reconstructive Centers in providing exceptional patient care.II. Position Requirements:A. Licensure/Certification/Registration:NoneB. Education:Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not requiredC.
