We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsPerforms general, routine maintenance and servicing operations to maintain the hospital buildings and equipment for Swedish Medical Center and those facilities owned and operated by the hospital, in accordance with applicable codes, laws and accreditation standards. Responsible for a designated portion of these buildings, including assigned preventative maintenance and daily non-scheduled work requests. Covers all areas of the facility when on-call, weekend rotation or as assigned. Other related duties as required or assigned by supervisor.What qualifications you will need:
1 year experience as a maintenance mechanic in a hospital similar to SMC or equivalent experience in industry or in military.
Good mechanical aptitude with supportive technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, steam and heat generation or general mechanical.
