With our combined resources CommonSpirit is committed to building healthy communities advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable and innovating how and where healing can happen both inside our hospitals and out in the community.ResponsibilitiesThis is a remote position and will require some travel.SummaryThis role will be accountable to lead the Epic Gold Clinical Informatics (CI) Implementation and Go Live readiness program in partnership with the Epic Gold Program in each region, market, and with operational leaders.Serves in a leadership role in strategic planning and implementation of new functionality at the system level, supporting both clinical integration as well as project deliverables. Accountable to implement programs and optimization requests to achieve performance improvement through the implementation and use of new and existing clinical Health IT systems. Provides expert consultation to senior business leaders at the divisional and system level such as hospital COO, CFO, CMO, CMIO, Medical Group Presidents and Executive Directors, Medical Staff Leadership to promote improved quality of patient care. Collaborates with Regional Clinical Informatics Directors.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesLeads system clinical informatics plans, data analysis programs, creation of enterprise informatics policies and procedures and serves as a champion for complex clinical projects and systems that support efficiency and effectiveness for end users, with the primary goal of advancing evidence-based practice.Leads the implementation of enterprise level clinical systems in collaboration with administration, physicians, nurses, ancillary, staff departmental teams, informatics staff, IT staff, corporate staff, System Clinical Informatics staff and third party consultants and educators.Provides oversight and direction to the processes related to maintain and improving system level application Standards for application architecture and adoption of required workflow by the end user. Directs team of expert system informaticists in consultative activities with key business owners through the organization to define new requirements for IT solutions that are aimed at performance improvement and quality of care. Is responsible for the quality of the clinical content within the electronic record and with its ability to support clinical and business needs across the entire systemProvide direction in the development, management and monitoring of specific metrics to system wide quality and safety leadership. Provides system clinical and business leadership with system benefits realization and ROI definition, baseline and post-implementation metrics, and reporting. Oversees metric performance to determine status of each region.Identifies areas of performance improvement for clinical applications that can be integrated into new system development. This position has the accountability and authority to design and implement programs to achieve performance improvement through the implementation of new health IT systems. Acts as business sponsor for new change and is a role model for effective change management strategies. This position is a role model for use of innovation in healthcare and sets appropriate targets for professional development within the system clinical informatics team.Ensures that the customer perspective is a driving force behind or actions and business decisions; crafting and implementing service practices that meet customers’ and own organization’s needs by developing and implementing improvements to change governance methods.Develops, refines, and communicates tactical plans for EHR Change Management in alignment with CommonSpirit Health Strategic and Clinical Goals.Directs and manages people, projects and/or tasks collaboratively and coaches other to achieve optimal performance; delegates effectively; praises/rewards contributions, defines clear roles and responsibilities; sets goals and leads initiatives while adjusting plan as necessary. Empowers and shares authority and responsibility with others while holding staff accountable.Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years related healthcare experience and minimum 5 years of leadership experience

Bachelor’s Required

Master’s 's degree strongly preferred

Healthcare Clinical Licensure required (in nursing, pharmacy, or therapy preferred)

Epic certification required

Extensive experience in the Clinical and or HealthCare Business Applications specifically to Epic

Excellent written and oral communication skills, Skilled facilitator of virtual meetings and teams
